How to unlock the Gemstalker Supreme achievement in Bejeweled Blitz LIVE - Definitive Guide
WARNING - LunarKnightX reports that having 100 friends on your XBL account will screw up Bejeweled Blitz's XP system causing resets and prevention of earning. I can confirm at having 98 friends causes no such issue but I'll be staying away from 100 until a) I hit level 50 or b) PopCap issues a patch. Play at your own risk.
The most contributing factor to gaining XP (and therefore levels) is your score. Every game counts and every game you'll get better at finding matches and going quicker. I'm averaging 150-200K per round now and it's barely adding up and I'm only level 22 with just over 23M XP.
According to GeorgieVaz's solution, you need 122,505,000 XP. Divide that by your "average" score and that's roughly how many minutes/games you'll need to play.
Outside of simply saying "Play more! Play faster! Play better!" the only real advice I have is "Play Party Live!".
Look, you're going to be playing anyway and playing locally is practically no different than playing in public Party Live mode. The games are quick to find and join and you're not waiting on other players, it's all you.
The benefit of playing online is that if you're in one of the top positions of the Party, you're gaining bonus XP. Minuscule bonus XP, but bonus XP nonetheless. You're leaving it on the table playing offline.
Every 5 seconds you can see this Bonus XP come out of your gamerpic bubble on the left. How much you get varies based on position and number of players in the game.
For example if there are 14 people in the game, it breaks down like this:
1st Place - 400 Bonus XP each 5 seconds
2nd Place - 300 Bonus XP each 5 seconds
3rd Place - 200 Bonus XP each 5 seconds
4th Place - 100 Bonus XP each 5 seconds
Everyone else - 0 Bonus XP
So if you manage to stay in the lead for the entire 60 seconds you'll earn (400 / 5) * 60 = 4800 Bonus XP. Not much, but play for an hour and that's almost 300,000 Bonus XP which is like playing 2-3 extra games in that hour (or more depending on your skill ;-) )
That scale changes if there are less people. When there was only 10 players, it only paid out the top 3 people (300, 200, 100 respectively). If there were 16 people, it may pay out more.
Bottom line is just keep playing, get better, play faster, go for all the other achievements anyway - but play online to get some extra benefit for your time.
Also, don't be afraid to use the hint button (RB). There's no penalty other than waiting for it to recharge and it can save you precious seconds or the SPEED bonus for BLAZING SPEED and bonus points.

Just thought it'd be notable for the exp related achievements if you care to add it: for some reason if you have over 99 friends on your friends list the game will reset your classic mode to level 1 with 0 EXP and prevent you from gaining more exp in classic (it also seems to cut your music volume to 0 when you cut on classic mode as well.)

Another bug here. Level 20 with 19mil exp. I played local battle to level 23 then quit. Came back the next day to being level 20 with 19mil exp again. Played to level 21 again. Quit and came back the next day to level 20 with 19mil exp a third time. Today I check and it's the same thing. So we tried something different. Instead of me starting the game my wife did on her profile. And I was the second player in the local battle. Played till level 21 then quit. Then started it back up as me, and I kept the exp. no idea why. But it's a great bug they need to fix.

Getting this one is a bit of a grind. Not nearly as bad as Bejeweled 2's Endless cheevo, but still a bit time consuming.122,505,000 is the magic number to get to. I did this in classic but I'm sure the score in twist would be the same. Popped during the round for me. And yes, play in party live for the bonus xp.

Just got this the other day, if I figure an average of 200k per game, this achievement took 10+ gameplay hours

I can't believe you did this on classic, I can't play classic worth anything. I get about 10-30k in classic, but around 200-300k on average per game in twist

All these solutions are great but after about 100+ games of only getting 30,000 - 100,000 points I decided to check out the leaderboards replays. So this is what I found the best way to level up with 0 skill at all. First create 2 lightning gems and stack them on top of each other on the bottom of the screen. They must be created like this...
X - Extra gems
C - Same Color gems
L - Lightning gems
xxxxCxxx
xCCxCCx
xxxCxxx
xxxCxxx
Highlight the bold gems and flip to the right (A) this will connect all the gems together creating 2 lightning gems. You should also get an achievement for connecting 7 gems at once. Once you have the 2 lightning gems move them to the bottom and stack them up like this...
xxxxxxx
xxxLxxx
xxxLxxx
Now create 1 more lightning gem by using the same color as the lightning gems you just made.
x xxxx
xCCxC
xxxCx
xxxCx
Again highlight the bold gems and turn to the right to connect the 2 gems to the left and the 2 gems on the bottom. This will make 1 more Lightning gem so move it right over the 2 other ones but make sure there is 1 extra gem in between or you will set it off and ruin everything. It should look something like this....
G - The gem in between the 3 lightning gems.
xxLxx
xxGxx
xxLxx
xxLxx
Now use whatever color is in between the gems is (G) and match it up with 2 more of the same colors. This will drop the lightning gem on top and connect the 2 on the bottom. It will look something like this...
xxLxx
xxGGxG
xxLxx
xxLxx
Once you connect the G on the right with the 2 in the middle immediately start mashing the A button as fast as you can while also moving your cursor to the bottom right of the screen. You will get a huge combo anywhere from 300,000 - 2,500,000 every game. I got this achievement in just a few hours doing this method. Watch the video below for a better idea on what I'm talking about.
Also I know this guide may be a bit confusing to read if you're new to the game or it might just be too confusing to read for everybody but I tried to explain it the best I could. If you want to help out by leaving a comment on how I can make this better please do so. Good luck

I doubt there are many people still working on this, but this is a great solution. I had been working on classic every now and then for years, but then knocked this off in around 6-8 hours in twist. It is tricky to get the feel of at first, but worth spending the time to understand and master.

I am very glad this guy plastered this solution all over the place. I wouldn't have been able to complete the game had I not known this.

Playing Party LIVE makes fun and you can earn some xp, but...what if theres a faster way?
Well...i asked myself why all those guys have about 10-23 Million Points in 1 Minute only so i watched some replays and got to the point theres an interesting glitch:
If ur gems are in this order:
xyo
zzo
xyz
xyo
x+y are supernovas, z is ur key to the million combo chain and u can use any other gem u like to. o is just a random gem which doesnt matter as long it isnt x or y . After getting this gems in their positions, switch the last z-gem to the others to form a combo. X and Y are falling down. During the passage where u made the z-combo, take the cursor and go a bit right and spam x. If ur Timing was right it should lag a bit and ur score should raise up to the sky. This cannot be done in CLASSIC MODE, this guide is for TwiST MODE only.
If there are some problems within understanding this guide u can watch my replay with 5,3 million points or the replay from someone else. Some guys do 3 Supernovas a row but im not that fast to do that and it would be easier for you to do than the other method. Like or dislike if u want. For more Information u can Pm me in XBL or if there are some questions left.
EDIT: U can also use this guide to get the 300k-500k achievements as well
EDIT 2: This can also be done with only3 nova gems as long as they are in a x
x
x position and as long as you followed the mentioned guide above. Its much easier than 2 or 3 rows and you can get an average score of 200-1.5mio with this.
Good Luck :)
