You can easily boost this achievement as well. Just invite one person to a private party match and take it in turns being top for 3 minutes

This has to be 3 consecutive minutes in the top 4. Once you enter the top 4 the timer starts. You must stay in the top 4 from that point on.

You don't need 5 people for this achievement. I got it with a friend in a private party after winning 3 times.

It's worth sticking at it too as players drop off the Party you move further and further ahead, so by sticking around and building your score you can end up in the top four quite easily. I'm surprised the TA score is so high on this achievement.

I received this achievement when I joined a random Party Match with just one other person. As soon as I pulled ahead (and stayed there), I got the achievement 3 minutes later. Doesn't need to be a full game.

Just join a PARTY game online (either Twist or Classic) and start scoring. You can tell where you are on the little chart to the left of the screen and after your minute is up you can see what place you are in. I'm pretty sure you have to stay in the top four for the three straight minutes for this one to pop.
