I'm sure everyone will say this achievement is just luck-based and they got it without trying. That's pretty frustrating when you're 40 games of diamond mine in with no luck.

Here's how to increase your odds: Start a diamond mine game and clear out either the left half or the right half of the board all the way to the bottom of the screen. You may only have 1-4 columns that are still above the line on one edge. Now keep working on that same half, near the bottom. This gives you a much greater chance of cascades.

It still won't happen immediately, but you'll notice that you will see more and more long cascades, which really improve the odds of 6 in a row.

This is one of those "how did I do that!" achievements.

I agree with the other solution to play Diamond mine cause that is where i got mine. I was minding my business moving gems and then all of a sudden I got 6 of the same color gems in a straight line and it created a star gem. You could also try to play the Butterfly game, but to be honest i don't know if it would work.

It was a special kind of moment for me because I have only made two superstar gems in my life. One is now and the other was on Bejewelled 3 on the PC.

So just keep trying your best and I'm sure you will be able to get your superstar gem!!
