How to unlock the Omni-Node Master achievement in Ben 10 Galactic Racing - Definitive Guide
You need to use 8 of the 11 power ups on 10 tracks, it can be the same track. It's often best to use the longer tracks but hopefully with this method you can use the shorter tracks too, making the achievement all the quicker.
I did this on Null Prime->The Agitator, Null Prime->Galvan Gorge and Wet Wasteland->Piscciss Falls. All very short tracks.
Power Ups are pretty much divided into 3 areas, those your likely to get at the front which are mostly 'mines', the middle of the pack weapons which tend towards 'missiles' and the back of the field weapons, the 'get back in the game' super weapons. There is also Speed Boost which you'll get in the middle and rear.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-WEAPON GUIDE
The weapons are;
--Front:
Green Goo (Mine)
Crystal Shard (Mine)
Omni-not (Mine)
--Middle:
Pink Crystal (Missile)
Green Laser (Straight Fire)
Blue Ball (Missile)
Sonic Blast (AoE)
--Rear:
Speed Boost
Shrink
Vine Wall
Omnitrix Power
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-WALKTHROUGH
Lap 1: Start by getting a boost, by hitting Acceleration after the guy says '2'. Head out front and get 2-3 of the mine power ups. If your far ahead your more likely to recieve mines, but you can still get them in 2nd and 3rd places.
Lap 2: drop down the order and get in as many Middle order attacks as you can, your looking for about 3-4 of these. You'll get a lot of variation whilst your in mid-field, you'll get Vines from 4th place down, blue ball from 4th and pink missile around 6th place.
Lap 3: There's a good chance Lap 2 has caused you to get shot, alot. This means your near the back and can work on Shrink, Vines and Omnitrix. You'll almost definitely gain Speed boost too. 2-3 of the rear weapons, not including speed will do you nicely. If your too far behind you'll get Omnitrix all the time, so ideally you'll want to be 7th.
So to recap.
Lap 1; 2 Mines
Lap 2; 3 Missiles
Lap 3; 2 Rear weapons
PLUS Speed Boost, gives you a grand total of 8 power-ups used.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-ADDITIONAL INFO
You must finish the race either by finishing the race or timing out.
You can check your progress through Extras->Achievements.
Your attacks don't need to hit another driver.
Feel free to park on a power up on the last lap, to help get the right ones.
Some tracks are just too hard for this, not only are they too short but also don't have enough power ups. If you find this, swap to an Intermediate or Advanced track.

This may be viewed as a silly question, as it appears that it would be true; but for clarification's sake, can you use the same track over and over to unlock this achievement? According to your guide, I would say yes but I would like to be 100% sure. Thanks!

Yes, I did my last 3 on the same track

I got this playing on one of the more advanced levels and just camping on an upgrade then shooting them as soon as I pick them up. Once you get so far behind everyone else you will get an upgrade that looks like the Omnitrix symbol and it will make you go super fast and take all the turns for you. You also get blue arrows that give you a surge of speed but if you run straight into a wall it cancels it. Keep camping until you are convinced you picked up 8 different upgrades then finish the race or let it time out. You can check your progress by going to "Extras" then "Achievements".

Your guide sucks, I've been trying to do exactly what your guide says for 3 hours straight on different tracks. I keep on getting the turbo and omnitrix power up because if you just stay in one spot it keeps on giving you the same thing over and over and over again. That's why I gave you a negative vote. You don't go into much detail on anything.

I didnt neg vote, but if you could please be more descriptive.....When I try what you said, my progress doesnt update. I know it must be in Single player, but can it be done in Circuit, GP, Single Race, ect? I thought i grabbed two already, but nothing is on my record, so something is wrong.
