How to unlock the Outta My Way!!!!! achievement in Ben 10 Galactic Racing - Definitive Guide

One way to get a bump is to hit them during a jump( or land on them earning you the "Absolutely Smashing" achievement) but the easier way is to stay in last place until you get the ultimate attack that looks like the Omnitrix wait until you can see someone then press A to use it. It will give you a huge speed boost and take all the turns for you just control it enough to try and hit as many people as possible(you will know if you get a bump if they are blinking). Elite Scion XB added that if you ram someone with your Defensive Power activated and it wipes them out and makes them blink this also counts as a bump.

Try to use it right behind the guy in 7th place because the closer you are to the front of the group the less time the powerup will last. Don't get discouraged if you don't get one on the first lap sometimes it's a lot harder to get on the first lap and stay close to 7th place because it won't give it to you till you are far enough away from first place.

I chose one of the last levels so there would be more powerups and more time. The character I chose was Vilgax with a heavy kart but if you have the "Plasma Tank" kart unlocked I would use it. You can check how many bumps you have by going to "Extras" then "Achievements".

If you don't already have the "Not Even a Scratch" achievement for blocking 100 attacks with your Defensive Power I would recommend working on it at the same time. Whenever you have the defensive power an run across a trap use it and run through the trap this will save a lot of time. If you want more details see my guide for that achievement.

Finished the whole game in like 6 hours except for this and the defending yourself 100 times one. Damn pointless grind achievements.

I second what LifeExpentancy said. I only had 7 bumps before starting the grinding of the 10 omni-node counts (I had 4 naturally). The three bumps and the 100 defends (I had around 54 of these) were all I had left after 4-5 hours.

Find a pinch point, in which there are two ramps and a speed track between them. Park in the middle of the speed track and activate your Defensive power right before everyone is about to hit you. You get a couple of bumps.

You can also wait until you're in 8th to obtain the ultimate power up, activate it and make sure to hit the other racers along the way.

This will obvisouly take a lot of time. Best map would be Azimuth's Forge since it's a longer track, and its easier to power drift to level up your defensive power. At the start just power drift at the beging in a circle before you continue the race, it's easy to get 1st with all of power ups on this track.
