An easier way to get this achievement is to play the track Piscciss Falls, there is a jump right at the end of the lap. On lap 3 ( be in 1st place ) do a trick just before you land this jump and you will fail/spin over the line.

JUST before you land ... i was doing it a little too early and landing on my head, bouncing and stopping just before the line. +1 from me, good solution.

Ok, having just got this achievement, there is a much easier way than faffing around with item pick-ups. On the track Tidal Tundra in the Null Prime set, there is an ice patch just before the finish line on the right hand side. It starts off under a snow pile, I chose to uncover it on the first lap but I suspect it will work just as well either way. As long as you hit this at normal speed (and of course, are winning) you will spin across the line and achievement unlocked.
