Play all levels in normal mode, once completed, go to time attack and play all levels again.
For first 2 Bosses use Swampfire(green guy); last boss use Jetray (red guy).
Jetray is good for levels 1-5.

It is important to note you must be connected to Xbox live when you post your time for each level. Otherwise it won't go on the leader board and you won't get the achievement.
To check if you have posted a time select leader boards on the main menu and use the x button to select your time and RB/LB to cycle through the levels.
This happened to me where I lost connection without noticing and did the last 6 or so levels with no connection.

Do you need a XBL Gold subscription for this? The reason I ask is because mine is expiring soon and didn't know if I need to expedite this game or not. Thanks!

Not 100% sure. I can tell you I had Gold when I did this. But I would not think it was vital because all it requires is for it to post the time to Xbox Live - which I would think should be ok with a silver subscription. Sorry I can not be more conclusive.
