How to unlock the No Small Feet achievement in Ben 10 - Definitive Guide
You've defeated Zombozo without taking a single point of damage! Great job! (Secret). Is what the hidden achievement is. IDK what level it is if someone wants to share that I can add it.
Warning: The achievements, especially the final one, are glitchy in this game. I haven't heard anything bad about this achievement but wouldn't be surprised if you beat this boss, without being hit, but don't get the achievement.
I Used:
Heatblast fully upgraded
Strategy:
You're gonna have to dash and shoot, dash and shoot for mobs. Every so often he opens a door, and a flame thrower shoots. Just watch the targets around u. when they stop moving a bomb is on the way. after the first time you hit him, he will be nearly dead or completely out of health. He will still have to be defeated by knocking him down another two times either way.
After the first time he gets back up to his switches/cannons he will make the platform spin on you. Use this to your advantage and keep your distance from mobs. I found the only hard part to be the flame thrower/cannon bomb part. Also, there's a chance u get hit by a pie if you don't move fast enough against certain mobs. save a power up for that mob and you should be fine.
It takes about 8 mins to run straight to the boss.
Juicyjams notes :
What I suggest is that you use XLR8 for the entire level. His attacks are fast and his dash is faster than the other aliens. You can use his normal attack for movement, is gonna be faster than normally walking and will save you a lot of time. I completed the level on 7 minutes using this strat.
For the boss fight: It's really hard, it's okay if you don't get the cheevo on the first try.
Continue using XLR8. When the door with the normal enemies open, start attacking them before they enter the arena itself. When done right, they will be locked in that small place and the boss fight should progress normally. If not, start attacking the door and they will die.
For the flamethrower, if you think the rockets will hit you, start attacking against the direction the arena is moving, this way you will be able to evade the hit in time. Don't do this trick in favor of the direction of arena's movement, you may be hit by the flames.
Glitchs that may occur in this level:
Abyss Glitch: The map will render just a smal part of itself and the rest will be just a white abyss, making impossible to progress. To fix this, just restart the level.
Inivisible Wall of Death glitch: When you drop on the boss fight arena, you wil instantly lose part of your health bar. There will be a invisible wall that won't let you acess the uper half of the arena. If you try to cross it, you will take damage from it and if you insist, it will result in death. To fix this, restart the game.
Good luck!
You've defeated Zombozo without taking a single point of damage! Great job!
Level: The Funhouse
As with the Queen Bee solution later, I recommend just completing the level a couple of times trying to attain the fastest time possible and learning where and how to quickly kill the enemies to get to the Finale.
This was my first go at these no-hit runs so you may find better or quicker attempts than me, but I used Greymatter for the entirety of this level, and utilised the pits. Whenever I had more than three enemies to fight I tried to use Greymatters blackholes (Hold B and move with LS) to bring close enemies over the pits so that after the black hole is gone, they drop down the hole and instantly wiped off the map. There's not a one spot guarantees all method that I know of for these pits, but after a couple of attempts you'll manage to eliminate most of the enemies and then quickly finish off any leftover (usually the jugglers are far enough away to not get sucked in)
Then it's just a case of dashing to the next area and knowing where the next Wildvine zipline is going to be.
Hint: For speed, at the beginning of the level dash right twice and switch to Wildvine ready to speed through, change to Greymatter (Or preferred character) for anytime you are not doing the Wildvine ziplines and dash as often as possible!
Solution:
For the actual boss however, I wasn't particularly effective with Greymatter.
Perhaps you are better with him than I was and can do it this way, however I found XLR8 to be the better option here (just never bother with his B, nor the Ultimate RT powers.)
You can quickly dispatch of all enemies with XLR8 just spamming X. The tougher enemies I tried to guide towards the bottom of the screen to push them off the side but whatever works for you. Just always be careful of the rockets!
Another thing I noticed but I wouldn't suggest attempting in sacrifice of your run - was that when he opened a door containing enemies, if you spam them with attacks for long enough not to let them out, the door would close and the clown would move on to the next door. Again, I only used this maybe twice in all of my runs, so I'm not sure how consistent this is and I wouldn't take the risk. But maybe you can learn to speed up your fights this way. Maybe!
For the flamethrowers, I suggest going to the shade of platform just before the door where the fire emits from, not too close but enough to give you room to run from the first incoming rocket, and then back from the otherside when more falling rockets follow.
When the clown falls down, use your normal spammed X attacks where safe to do so, but don't risk getting hit by the falling rocket when doing so. It's better to survive and have to do one more round of enemies, than to have to restart the level.
You likely will not complete this on your first few attempts, so if you get hit continue the level and use it for practice and try to learn the sequence of the level, the boss fight and the method that suits you best.
Note that the later bosses are actually somewhat a little bit easier than this one, so don't be too overwhelmed, this is my fastest level, and I managed to beat it in a record of 7:47
Hope this helps!
For this trophy you must not take ANY damage during the fight with Zombozo. Getting hit and then killing yourself to reload the save point will not work either. Zombozo is the boss in the stage The Funhouse. The battle takes place with you on a circular platform below Zombozo with 3 doors at the top section of the screen and two cannons on top of either side of the upper area. Behind you is an open gap that you can fall off and will damage you if you do so. The battle itself takes place in 3 phases so to speak.
During the first phase, the platform you are on stays stationary. The lights above the doors will randomly blink across them until it lands on one and the door will open. When the door opens it will either be a group of random enemies that you must defeat or a clown head that shoots fire across the screen from it's location for a period of time. While you are dealing with the doors, the cannons will begin to target you with cannon balls that follow you around the screen for a while until they stop on the spot they are going to land. You will want to avoid any area around it as you can get hit even if you're just outside of the target area. After the doors do their random thing a few times, it will do it again, but this time all of them will blink and open revealing a button behind each. One of the 3 buttons will be lit up and you must hit that one to cause Zombozo to drop to the ground so you can do damage to him. If you take too long to hit one of the buttons, it will move to one of the other spots or the doors will close and you will have to go through the previous attack portions again until they reopen. Once you drop Zombozo, keep hitting him as much as you can until he stops taking damage (about 1/3 of his health). If you don't do enough damage to him before he gets up, it will start the phase over again and you must try to finish taking down the remainder of the 1/3 of his health on the next attempt.
Once he has lost about a 1/3 of his health, the second phase will begin. During this phase the platform you are on begins to rotate counter clockwise. The doors will remain the same with their random opening and enemies/clown head being behind them, but the bombs will start coming 2 at a time and a little faster this go around. Keep avoiding everything and killing the enemies when they appear until you get the 3 buttons again and drop Zombozo down again to do another 1/3 worth of damage.
When he is down to his last 1/3 of health, the third phase starts with the platform you are on rotating clockwise this time. Everything else is the same for this go around with the doors and cannons. Just keep going until you finally finish off Zombozo and end the battle.
My suggestions for completing this entire battle without dying is to use a combination of Grey Matter & XLR8 during it. I would start with Grey Matter as he is one of the quickest characters you have and his vortex ability works wonders at grouping together enemies to be shot at with his normal attack from afar. Go through the first portions of each phase with the doors and cannons until the 3 buttons appear, then use his normal attack to shoot at the glowing one. As soon as it hits and Zombozo starts to drop, quickly change to XLR8 and then use his ability to slow down time. Run over and start hitting Zombozo quickly (try to aim towards the walls so you don't knock him off the back edges prematurely before you get 1/3 of his health down). When he returns to the upper level, switch back to Grey Matter and repeat the process for the remainder of the battle.
If you have your Ultimate I would save it for a time when the enemies that come out include Tweedledees, since they are the most time consuming to kill. When using your Ultimate, be careful not to activate it when you have a cannon target on you as there is a good chance you will get hit when you come out of it.
Once you have finished off Zombozo with no damage taken during the battle, the trophy will pop.
