Heres my video solution showing how to defeat Grendel.
This is taken from my 2nd playthrough on Legend difficulty, so no achievement pops at the end.
During this playthrough I was focusing on the Heroic pathway, so finished him heroically, but you can also defeat him in the same way with a carnal finish.
