I was having problems with getting this achivement the same as doc2084. I found the best way to get through was to mute the sound and focus only on the "Note Ring". I was able to get 99% time and time again this way. After two hours of trying I finally got the achiement. Infact I started to mute the sound everytime I had to play this mini-game aspect and did considereablely better than with the sound on.

this is a very easy achievement when your singing at the beggining of the game waitng for grendel to show up. just hit all of the notes correctly. remember long notes are Y and short notes are X. if you mess up always remember you can reload from the last checkpoint. you will know if you made a mistake because it will appear with a red cross

Hey, nice to see new posts on this game. I just started it... For these X & Y button press things, do you have to hold Y for the duration, or just tap it when the bar comes around? I don't know how I survived the boat thing, but I did... I just have no idea how I did it. I not too found of QTEs.
