I made a vehicle for use to get this very easily
Push
to bring up the Workshop menu, push 
to go to player created vehicles, push 
to bring up the search bar and search for "Breadcraft". Its a + shape flying machine
Use the
button to fly it up and let go of the button to drop altitude, use the 
to bank forward, to bank backward, 
to bank left and 
to bank right. All you will have to do is just touch the apples(?) and they will pop like balloons, don't go too fast or you run the risk of flipping/crashing and destroying the vehicle
After you burst the last apple, the achievement should pop up
(Im not sure if "banking" is the technical term for going foward/backward/left/right)

No idea why you chose the dpad, i had to swap the controls to the left stick but thank you all the same!

For those who want a vehicle able to do this one (and the crystal grabber chevo), on PC workshop there are the "crystal grabber" or "updated air grabber" flying ones, that are just great to do it. Very easy to maneuver.

if glitched and the achievement isn't unlocking for you.. i had to close the game -> enter airplane mode (anything that turns off internet will work here i think) -> turn back on game and get back into main menu -> turn back on internet -> complete requirements for achievment again and then there's like a 50% chance it pops.. this is a glitchy mess and i highly avoid you just stay away from the (pc version of the) game

Just wanted to add I have been using a workshop vehicle called the "Airship Bomber" that I find super easy to fly. I used it for a dozen different missions including this one (it's a mobile crane too!). You can delete the bombs for this one obviously. So follow PraiseTheBreadI's advice buy maybe use an easier to fly the vehicle

Worked perfectly! I never managed to handle the ship on the other solution.
