How to unlock the Gamble King 1 achievement in Beyond Good & Evil HD - Definitive Guide
Once you have repaired the hovercraft at the Mamago garage (beginning of the game), head to the city and in the pedestrian district. Once there, enter in the Akuda bar and find Peepers on the upper floor. He'll challenge you to a very simple game: a ball is hidden in one out of 3 coconut shells.
To make things real easy, bet 50 credits so his moves will be slower. Keep your eyes on the coconut shell under which the ball is at the beginning (middle one) and select it once Peepers is done switching them.
Repeat 2 more times and the achievement is yours.
This can be done at any time in the game (except at the very end, once you can't go back to explore the world).

It might be worth noting that even if you win the game that you play in order to get the room code it won't count toasted your three wins, you actually need to bet and win in order to unlock the achievement.

When you go to the Akuda Bar, there’ll be a few little games for you to enjoy - a game of disk hockey against Francis on the ground floor and a coconut shell game on the second floor against Peepers. Head to the second floor and initiate a game with Peepers. This is the least difficult of the two; it’s pretty hard to lose. Follow the coconut shell with the ball intently; it's over faster than you think. Win three times and you’ll unlock the trophy.

Location Pedestrian District, second floor of the Akuda bar. You need to win 3 games of “thimbles”, and not necessarily in a row
