How to unlock the Racing Champion achievement in Beyond Good & Evil HD - Definitive Guide

First 2 Races are in Main Canal (city).
Second 2 Races are in Slaughter House (you have to enter one of them for story progression, you can't get here until you get the jump ability for your hovercraft, item that is 15 pearls in Mamangos).

Overall these are very easy to get first in, make sure to come equipped with boosts as they will help a lot, the races aren't very long, always try to get onto the boost arrows on the tracks too, once you have done first place in all 4 races you'll get the achievement plus 4 pearls for each race's victory.

Races r not easy especially race 3. Still can't get past 2nd

So I thought I'd add that the races are extremely easy and you don't even need the boosts. Your hovercraft is just a tiny bit faster than all the competitors, so just hold down cn_RT and maneuver around them.

In addition, I didn't discover until right around the time of the third race that you don't have to hold cn_LS forward when using the cn_RT boosters, so that makes it a lot easier to maneuver your hovercraft around.

There are 4 hovercraft races in total and you can access them in the town centre of Hillys. They get progressively harder as you advance, but ultimately they’re not really difficult. Thankfully, all races are infinitely repeatable.
You will earn this on the way to Moneybags as Pearls are some of the winnings for the races.

The races are easy and each one rewards you with a pearl. The first two are in the city, the other 2 are at the slaughterhouse
