How to unlock the Kicking *** achievement in Beyond Good & Evil HD - Definitive Guide

This is a very easy achievement. You can get it while you are in the factory. First you need the disc shooter, which is in the same room as the captive Agent HH. With this you can kill the guards very easily. All you have to do is hide, so they can't see you, and wait for the moment, when they turn their back to you. Now target the Tank and shoot. With this you can damage it, and the Alpha Guard is totally helpless. Get close to him and press the X-Button for some kicking and killing.

But be careful: Most of the time you will meet a pair of those soldiers. To kill both of them, you have to render one Guard helpless, hide and wait for the other to go to his partner. You have a few seconds, during which he will try to help his collegue. When you see his tank, target it with the disc shooter and then fire at will.

Double H actually tells you the other method: sneaking up to them and kicking their tanks. Press X (twice) to kill the guard. As with chronocon's method, be careful with pairs of guards.

No other places than the factory ?

Yes, there are other places than the factory. I popped the achievement in the Slaughterhouse. There are guards as well in a few other places, but between the factory and the slaughterhouse, you should pop the achievement easily.

During your adventures, you will encounter Alpha Section guards. It turns into a bit of a Metal Gear Solid sequence as the guards have poor eyesight but extremely acute hearing; running in their presence will alert them. When an Alpha Section guard is not looking, run behind them and hit the green air tank on their back. They will run around in a frenzy. Kick them again and you will kill them for good. Simply do this 10 times in your playthrough and you will unlock the trophy. Note that it is recommended not to do this attack in the presence of multiple guards; try to wait until one is a fair distance from the other, or at least do it with a good escape route nearby.
