How to unlock the Go The Distance achievement in Big Rumble Boxing: Creed Champions - Definitive Guide

Not so much a guide , more some tips.

When you try to do this , you have probably completed a couple of arcade towers so you are familiar with the controls. Champion difficulty is the same as other difficulty’s but the A.I. seems to block more and is more accurate , I did not really see more damage done to your character , it is possible that you inflict less damage to your opponent but I am not sure about that.
Be familiar with the Block / slip counter trigger cn_RT , on this higher difficulty it is a life saver at times. This is probably also the part where you achieve the “You slip , I slide” achievement for slip counter a slip counter.
Only use your super punch when your opponent is stunned or when he is punching because they will slip away in 90% of the time. Remind yourself that you can counter an opponent’s super punch with your own superpunch if your bar is full off course. As soon as you see the animation of the super punch , spam the cn_LT or cn_LB button and you will counter the superpunch.

Try to unlock Clubber Lang ( the Mr T Mohawk guy ) I found him the easiest to play with on this difficulty. He has nice combo’s and an easy unblockable punch with cn_Y . If you already completed his arcade tower and have unlocked his alternate costumes , do not forget to select an alternate costume to get the “That’s not canon!” Achievement As well.

When I started the arcade tower on the highest difficulty I was somewhat overwhelmed by the combo’s and slips that the A.I. did. The A.I. Is not really stronger , but they combo a lot more , block is amazing and they use the slip ( cn_RT ) a lot.

You probably have to restart a couple of times … not because you lose , but I noticed a dip in difficulty after a couple of restarts. I started the arcade tower and got my butt kicked big time , so I restarted , the next match I started really bad , so restarted again , and after that another restart. When I started the match for the fourth time , I immediately noticed that my opponent was not as strong as in the previous matches and I won with 4 knockdowns against 1 , without any pain.
In the remainder of the matches i did the same “technique”. It looks as if the AI is weaker than normal after a couple of restarts.
If your opponent knocks you down way before you knock him down , just restart , if you feel that your opponent is hurting you more than you wish , restart. Don’t wait until you lose the match , just restart in or just at the end of the first round. I always tried to be at least one knockdown ahead.

I know it is not a foolproof guide and you will probably still have some difficult matches , but It really worked for me. I really noticed that the difficulty scaled down a bit after 3/4/5/6 restarts. Could be a coincidence, but it worked for me.
Good luck

Excellent guide, especially the restart tip. I used Ivan Drago and the only fight that gave me a really hard time was the Clubber Lang fight (2nd to last one) because of that unblockable attack.

Yea this guide helped. Basically if you get knocked down first or they get to far ahead of you. Restart.

I also went into the Xbox Accessories app and swapped out the A button and RT. So I had Guard/Slip on A and Dodge on RT. This helped me block faster and get the slip easier. It also help3d with Dodging more when moving around.

Since I have an elite controller I also adjusted the RT to act more like a button.
