How to unlock the Craftsman achievement in BINARY DOMAIN - Definitive Guide

Each weapon has various upgrade potentials. It will most likely be near the end of chapter 3 or 4 as you can only upgrade so far each chapter before it locks. All you have to do is upgrade one slot of any weapon, i.e. max your accuracy out all the way. At the end of my Survivor play through, I had Dan's weapon fully upgraded, so will most likely come naturally.

Purchase ALL upgrades for (1) upgrade category. Range and Accuracy have the fewest amount of levels and cheapest upgrade cost; however, you will have no problem fully upgrading all categories. If have already purchased the upgrade available in that specific act, the vending machine will state that the upgrade is sold out.

This will come later on in chapter 3 or 4 depending on how much money you have, simply just keep upgrading an attribute of your weapon until you can’t raise it no more. Some go to level 6 some go to level 7, the attribute I upgraded was accuracy as it only unlocks at level 6. You can’t do this any earlier due to certain levels being locked until you progress deeper into the story.

A nice way to get credits early on is at the end of the 2nd Chapter when you are in the sewage plant after saving your comrades, you wait for an elevator and Crazy monkey bots, the small brown ones will infinite spawn and will keep coming to you. Just walk up to them and shoot/melee, they are one hit with melee. Make sure not to get on the elevator.

Focus on one specific weapon and drain all available credits on it, the assault rifle is best.

Not entirely true. It is enough to improve one weapon characteristic to the limit (accuracy, rate of fire, etc.)
