How to unlock the The Dragon achievement in Biomutant - Definitive Guide

Confirming that when I got to the choice of "ending the war" or "continuing the crusade" the achievement popped immediately after deciding to end the war. This choice comes right after you subdue the second tribe. I wasn't sure if that would count as subduing the rival leaders or not but apparently it does.

For anyone interested, if you accept their surrender, you cannot get their tribe weapons or do the gameplay of taking down their forts and the associated mini sidequests 😒

The above comment is incorrect. You just need to go to the tribe location to unlock the tribe weapon. If you united them all after 6 outposts it will be the big green coin location

As you progress the story you will storm the 5 fortresses, eventually fighting or persuading the leader of each fort.

I chose the option to persuade and subdue each leader to follow me and the Myriad Tribe as this takes the least time, rather than engaging in combat, and the trophy will be earned once you have done all 5 leaders.

There are a total of five other tribes in the game that you must deal with at some point. Once you have overtaken three outposts from the same tribe, you'll be able to choose to end the fight with them and take on their fort. Do so and that will be considered one tribe dealt with. After doing this with two tribes, you can choose to end the war completely right away, or continue to manually take over the tribes. Obviously it is much quicker to simply end the war and unlock this achievement only dealing with two of the tribes rather than repeating this process another three times, so I'd advise doing that.
 
Note: If you choose to end the war ea, you will NOT receive tribe weapons from the tribes you do not directly take over. However, you will always get a minimum of three weapons (you starting tribe plus the two you are required to take over) so this will not affect Show-off (10G).

Either a glitch or a feature - he accepted the surrender of everyone and ended up not receiving the three remaining weapons of the tribes. Fortunately there is no such trophy
