How to unlock the Leap Up! achievement in Bionic Commando - Definitive Guide

After you've completed the tutorial section on how to use your arm, there's a short cutscene, then you can use the arm back in the game where you left off. Just simply use it to grab a ledge (LT) and press A then A again. Do that twice, pop 5g :)

Challenge: Perform a 'Leap Up'.
Method: This will be one of the first Trophies that you unlock. Simply press on a wall to grab it, then press to jump into the air and once more to 'Leap Up'.

This challenge will start automatically on the third level "Ascension City Downtown - One Continued" and requires you to perform 1 Leap Up.

To Leap Up attach to the next floor with the press to pull yourself into the air, and then press again to pull yourself up to the next floor.
