After you complete trials 1-3 on each of the 6 maps, you unlock a 4th bonus trial for each map. Complete all of these bonus trials. You have no restrictions on available weapons or plasmids.
All I did was use Insect Swarm 3 every time it was available and laid down some mini-turrets by the Little Sister. Just alternate between getting an EVE hypo and turrets, while spamming Swarm and you should be able to get a 100% gather on the first 4 maps; for maps 5 & 6, you'll probably need to shoot an enemy once or twice if you want 100%.

On top of Insect Swarm, use Security Command (hold LT) to summon two Security Bots, and then grab the 'Summon [spoiler-free]' from the Gene Bank and use that as well. Then reap the benefits of doing nothing.

Lol I was gonna post me own thought - I agree with both of you ^_^.
A side note - barely worth noting - there's gene banks for adding in any tonics, but you'd need to do this on every map. Not worth it I suppose :)

Although you do get every tonic and plasmid in the game, before you put the little sister down to gather the ADAM you have to go to a gene bank in the game in order to equip these tonics and plasmids. While at the gene bank equip the
plasmid and all the bonus trials will be an absolute cake walk.
