BioShock 2

I did this one in the Adonis Baths #2. I placed trap bolts everywhere around the Little Sister. After I got $80-$100 right after killing a few Splicers, I bought some more and unloaded them around the sister too as fast as I could. Then I just stayed near her and used my drill on anyone that survived long enough to get close.

Alternately, once you complete all the trials on all the maps you unlock a fourth, "bonus" trial for each map. With these you have all your weapons, and can head to the Gene Bank icon on the in-game map to select any tonics or plasmids you want, even "Summon Eleanor". I'd still recommend using plenty of trap bolts and sticking relatively close to the sister.

This can also be done on Adonis Baths trial 3. For this trial you have the Hypnotize plasmid which makes this very simple. When you can see a splicer around the pool use plasmid he will almost always attack another splicer but rarely they will shoot at you.
If they start getting close use the shotgun, you should not need to go get ammo just conserve it. If for some reason you do have to go for ammo, health, or eve this would be the time to use your trap spears.
If your careful and make all your shots count you can get through without having to leave the sister. Also you need the multiplier so nothing can get to the sister. I did this in a few tries without ever leaving her or using traps. Another thing I did was crouch in the corner when the splicers came from behind, make them come to you. Good luck and be patient.

This can be gotten easily on the very first trial; stand in the corner behind the Little Sister, to the left at the bottom of the steps down from the starting point. Then, keep powering out Insect Swarms while splicers can be heard but not seen.

This was my initial strategy and I found it meant most splicers getting in line-of-sight were easy to pick off with gunfire; pinged the achievement first time - where I've struggled with a lot of the later trials.

Atlantas Express Train: Trial 2.
1.) Hack all machines.
2.) Go to Enemy Hallway spawn upstairs across bridge behind wall writing that says " She knows the way". ( enemys only have 3 spawns to enter. This one, the other one upstairs near chalkboard & downstairs)
3.) Put about 3/4 of ur trap rivets in this "She knows the way" hallway. One after another.
4.) Go put the rest in the Downstairs hallway. Also put all of ur spear traps here.
5.) Shoot 2 proximity mines on both sides of the body w/the adam.
6.) Shoot 1 proximity mine in front of each spawn hallway.


Now when this is all set up you should have basically 1 spawn to deal with for most of the gather. Thats the upstairs chalkboard one u didnt set any rivets for. What u wanna do is hang out with your back against the health staition upstairs so u can look directly at that chalkboard spawn. You will also have a clear overlook of your lil sister. THe ammo bandito should be immediatly on your right. As soon as you start you will likely kill a few splicers w/your traps so u should immediatly buy 1 or 2 more proximity mines. The key thing to do is keep looking over your sister to see if any splicers have been blown up by the 2 mines u set near the body.
Whenever 1 blows up u replace it with another. After you replace them , just get some more mines from the bandito on ur right. You always want to keep a ready supply of mines avaialbe. Now the occasional splicer or two may leak out, mostly from the chalkboard spawn thats not booby trapped. YOu can also replace that doorway with a proximity mine as well when they blow up. Basiclaly you just keep replacing the mines and always keep a watch on ur sister. Priority 1 is the replacing the 2 mines near the body.

Near the end, the gather will get alittle heavy with the presence of the Brute Splicer & The Alpha daddy. Just make sure they dont get near the sister. Keep replacing the mines and shoot some mines at them to kill them. Remeber its ok if you take damage, u can always use some first aids if needed. Buy some time , absord some damage & u can kill off these guys. Just make sure no one touches ur sister. Also you can deploy the Decoy when things get a little heavy. It will buy you time to replace & buy mines. Also you can shoot the Brute and Alpha with some Cyclone traps to buy u time/kill them as well. When its done grab ur sis fast and bingo. Perfection.

Edit: After playing more I seem to notice the Brute & Alpha never really bother the sister, they just want to kill you. While your dealing with these guys just make sure no regualr splicers weasel there way next to your sis.

I got a really easy one.

Do "Simon Wales' Church" Third trial.

You have a Machine gun with .50CAL rounds and Anti-personal rounds. Plasmids=Incinerate! and Cyclone Trap.

Now ALL you have to do is set Cyclone traps all around the sister while she gathers ADAM. Then just burn and shoot any splicer you see with your .50CAL rounds (NOT ANTI-PERSONAL). Everytime you see a splicer hit your trap, set more. Going back to the Circus of value as needed for health/eve or Ammo. When the Brutes (big guys) Start showing up, burn and shoot them with your ANTI-PERSONAL rounds. Getting more as needed.

You should get the achievement very easily if you just make sure you always have cyclone traps by the Little Sister, they can never get to her.

I did this on Pauper's Drop Market - Trial 3.

I found an extremely simple way of doing this. To start set your mini turrets next to the Little Sister and hack the machines, now your set.

All I did was spam the swarm plasmid, as you don't actually have to aim with it, they target the enemy on their own. You end up not having to do much! Since the enemy is pretty much constantly being attacked by the swarm they never get to the Little Sister (I still advise sitting next to her just incase)

As the Swarm kills the enemy you still get a steady supply of cash to keep buying Eve and health packs. Also make sure you have mini turrets to replace the ones you loose. It got this without even realising or going for it.

I managed to do this on the first try in Pauper's Drop Market on Trial #3.

Starting equipment:
Weapons: Drill, Hack Tool (2 mini-turrets)
Plasmids: Security Command 2, Insect Swarm 2

When you start, there's going to be 3 devices you want to hack. The Circus of Value to your right, El Ammo Bandito to your left, and the first aid station in the building in front of you. For your two turrets, place one halfway between the little sister and the Ammo Bandito and the other halfway between you and the circus of value.

Now, go ahead and set the little sister down and summon one or two security bots with Security Command 2 by charging up with (LT). Since it is just you and your drill, you'll want to use Drill Dash (RT+B) which should kill all but the brute splicer in one hit, You'll also want to have Insect Swarm 2 at the ready and it's good to have an swarm always active.

Since the splicers seem to come out slow enough on this map, you should be able to visit the circle of value to refill on fuel (which you never want to run out of) and pick up some eve and first aid kits to get you through the match.

Once the brute splicers start showing up, you'll want to have some extra turrets set up. You can buy up to four, so go ahead and buy those and refill your fuel as well at the El Ammo Bandito. Place the turrets in the same place as you did in the beginning of the map, only instead of one in each spot, put two there. Only thing you should have to worry about is the Brutes destroying them, but that's taken care of easily if you keep in their face with your drill dash.

Any time you're not running to refuel fill, you should be somewhere near the little sister constantly checking your left and right. Aside from the turrets, your long range is limited, so being vigilant is key.

Also, with the splicers, it would probably help to take down the normal splicers before taking on the brutes. Not only does it help keep the numbers down, but at least for me, it seems that the brutes don't go after the little sister.
