This trophy seems to be a little buggy. The game might not register the destruction of the turret if you have used Possession or any other plasmid. It's best to rely only on weapons.

Also it's worth mentioning you can easily get the trophy by restarting the checkpoint after you've destroyed the turret. You can attack the same turret 10 times.
