How to unlock the Sightseer achievement in BioShock Infinite - Definitive Guide

Bioshock Infinite has 37 Telescopes and Kinetoscopes to collect / watch. The Kinetoscopes are little "TVs" in a cabinet.

The Telescopes and Kinetoscopes carry over in the next Playthrough but all 37 Telescopes and Kinetoscopes lays again in the World and only the missed counts for your Achievement.

In the Video you see below the overall Counter for each collectible Categorie and what i currently collected is BOLD marked. At the Top you see the "big" Chaptername, not the little one particular.

When you Click a Item, a new Window open and the Video starts from this Time / Item. Otherwise you can watch the Videos below the Missions and click manually to the Time.

The Video shows ALL 142 Collectibles sorted by Storyprogress, i link here only the 37 Telescopes and Kinetoscopes.

Awesome guide! Would be helpful if you included the time in the video where you pick up the code books for the items that you need a cypher

Awesome video, didn't expect one to have everything. Although if it had *everything* it would've had equipment locations in there as well, so the title is slightly misleading. But the equipment I'm not too worried about, and this helped me mop up many achievements. Great solution!

Can I go back and reload a chapter to get them?

I was one of the people to have 36/37. So I went back to the Good Luck Club(since most people said they forgot that after the tear, you had to get the kinetoscope to the RIGHT of the vending machine this time) and had no luck there. If this will help anyone, I went & found my last one at the Monument Island Getaway. It was the one right after you begin to use the railing with your hook.

@x JohnnyRogue x, thanks! I was missing two, so followed your advice and it was the Good Luck Club one and a Monument Island Getaway one that was located to your right straight after loading the chapter.

So I was one of the unfortunate people to have finished the game using a guide with 36/37 progress. I checked the ones that people normally missed but I assumed that the one I missed was, like usual for me, going to be one of the stupid easy ones that I literally had to walk right by. And it was. After replaying half of the game just looking for kinetoscopes and telescopes, I finally found the one that I needed! It was Kinetoscope 12/26 "Mighty Songbird Patrols the Skies" according to the on site walkthrough. It is in Soldier's Field chapter, right after you get out of the Carnival/USA themed building with all the eagles and animatronics. When the power goes out on the gate and you have to press X to open the gate manually, you then come outside to a part of town where everyone is peaceful and there are no enemies. You are prompted to "press X to look up" and immediately after this to your left, and to the Left of the Ice Cream Store if facing it from the front, is the one that I missed, sitting there clear as day. I honestly think it was the looking up prompt that caused me to miss it. Might be one to check if you are one or two short too.

I've made a text and video guide in the thread below:
http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=43...

The guide will show ALL 142 collectible items in the game, in chronological order, broken down by chapter. Timelinks are available next to each collectible for video reference.

Please view the notes at the top of the guide for additional information.

Note: I have linked to the thread for formatting reasons.

What a great guide, easy to follow, each video was linked and played one after another. So simplified, would recommend to anyone. It nets you all the collectibles.

Awesome guide. I used this to find one I missed. Thumbs up.

Also just to note, you can run through most of the game backwards from the later checkpoints. No enemies!

Below is a video guide which shows the locations all 37 Telescopes and Kinetoscopes in the game. They are in order chronological order.

If you miss any during your first playthrough you can replay the chapter.

This is great, but if only the developers put in a type of list to make it easier when trying to find the ones missed. I think I got 34 out of 37 on my first run....blah.

I am also in the "I'm missing just one" boat - I followed the list. For those that are in that situation - and find the final one - please post here which one it was. Maybe it's the same one, and possibly isn't always triggering like it should.

OK, quick update to my comment. In the Good Time Club chapter, don't make the same assumption I did. You get the first one in that area when you first go upstairs, and the second directly downstairs from the first after the "interview" fight. Remember to also pick up the third one on your way out after you go into the alternate Columbia, and don't assume because you see one there when you open the doors that it's the same one. Very subtle, but it's on the opposite side when you go out the doors from where you came in. That's the one I missed.

Me and my buddy Matt show you how to find all those sneaky telescopes and kinetoscopes. The video show where they are all located. There are 37 total and best of all they stack. So if you missed one, you can select a chapter and go back and get it. All 37 are really easy to find. So don't worry if we are vague with describing where some are located in the video. Go get those Telescopes and Kinetoscopes!

There are a total of 37 sights (Kinetiscopes and Telescopes) in Bioshock Infinite. They can be activated through multiple playthrough or chapter replays. Follow the three videos below to find all the sites.

[MISSABLE] There are 37 Telescopes and Kinetoscopes in the game. Telescopes are what you’d expect, offering a close-up view of the various buildings and monuments in Columbia, whilst Kinetoscopes are machines that you look into which each play a small vignette loosely related to the story and events in the game. You can activate both objects by approaching them and holding for a couple of seconds.

Every time you view a new Telescope or Kinetoscope, the game will notify you of your progress out of 37 towards the trophy. These are carried across multiple playthroughs and can be earned via Chapter Select, so you do not have to get them all in one run. However, the game very unhelpfully does not tell you which ones you already have, so unless you have an amazing memory or have noted down exactly which ones you’ve already got, you will likely be searching around for hours trying to find one you haven’t picked up yet. Therefore, I highly recommend you follow PowerPyx’s collectable guide to ensure you don’t miss any on your first run through.

We carefully watch the video and see the 23 kinescope is on the left, after passing through the gap, on the way back, in the same place, the kinescope is already on the right, under the number 25 in the video. These are two different kinescopes. I missed it on my first playthrough.
