I found the easiest way to acquire this trophy is to enter Survivor Mode in New Game Plus. I played the game on normal first, and then entered Survivor Mode after. By the time you get to Medical Pavilion in NG+, you're given all of your weapons from your previous game. So you're basically loaded. Resources are way more hard to come by, and enemies deal a hell of a lot more damage. Although, if you're in NG+, this shouldn't be too much of an issue, at least in the beginning; because your health/eve upgrades carry over too.
I found later in the game, particularly in Prometheus Point, i had trouble with my Eve Hypo/First Aid Kit supply. This just may be me however, if you ration your resources you should be fine.

For this achievement to unlock you have to disable Vita-Chambers in the main menu settings before starting a new game on the survivor difficulty setting and then come complete the game.
