How to unlock the Artisan Craftsman achievement in Black Desert - Definitive Guide
This solution is for BDO Xbox
Leveling up by AFK Processing is easy. It's much much quicker than leveling up your fishing!
***************
Tools that will help:
a)Silver Embroidered Craftsman's Clothes +X. Whatever level u can afford. You can sell later EZ.
b) Sute Tea (Life EXP +8%
c) Elixir of Time (Life EXP +10%) if u are sitting there watching processing, because it only lasts 5 minutes.
**************
Steps:
1. Buy Cotton or Flax at Central Market and move it to your pocket inventory. I buy stacks of 1,000.
2. Open your Processing Menu (LT and up on d-pad, then over to the left with analog stick, selecting Processing)
3. Tab over to Heating. Don't worry about selecting anything from the list, just hit Select A to open your pocket inventory.
4. Select the stack of cotton or flax.
5. Hit Y to confirm Let it cook. Walk away, go to sleep, or watch it - it will processes until your material is gone.
You can then process the cotton or flax thread it produces into fabric, same steps except chose Grinding instead of Heating. More bang for your buck!

for me this achievmet cames easily during playing. If you are going for the fish achievment you get a lot of fresh fisch.
You only have to dry these fishes and you get this achievment very easy and without any additional time.

Processing tends to come after gathering.
Whatever resources you get, processing them through the processing menu is one of the main beginner ways to leveling up. LT+UP and then on the left of the wheel to get to the menu.
How I did it was to obtain a majority of my materials through workers in the farms of Veila. Send them mining on the cost or to the lumber yard in the south east.
Receive those materials and then heat the ore you receive, or chop the lumber you get. I don't have exact numbers of what is needed. Processing Flax is good XP as well (the farm needed is in a node south of Heidel). Some instances I would pop EXP scrolls or bonuses to increase total XP Gained.
-
If you don't have a worker system, you can either buy raw materials from the Central Exchange or gather yourself for that XP.
Buying empty jars and filling them with sea or river water can be a good second option to then heat or filter. Gathering like that can be Work Energy heavy though but good for idling.
