How to unlock the Unexpected Journey achievement in Black The Fall - Definitive Guide

This achievement is gained after getting across the field with the giant laser shooting robot mech. You will cross some train tracks, and if you wait you will see an approaching train. Stand on the left side of the tracks as it passes, and you will need to interact with the last train car in order to enter, find the secret, and unlock the achievement.

After the annoying part with the sentinel and crows in chapter 3 you'll get to the part where you see a train moving.
Go on to the right side and wait for it again when it passes grab the last cart with cn_X

After getting past the Sentinel shooting at crows there will be a train that keeps passing by. You need to press X on the last cart from the right side to enter it and get this achievement.

Obtainable in Chapter 2.

After navigating through the area where you need to use the robot dog to distract the two-legged mech, you will eventually come to a train track. Stand to the right of it and get as close as possible to the train and carts. As they pass you by, repeatedly press and you will grab onto the last cart and will be thrown inside, where you will be surrounded by sheep. The trophy pops on this screen and will put you back on the train track after 30 seconds.

The train is on a loop, so if you miss it first time, keep an eye on it in the distance and wait for it to come back and repeat the above steps.

In the outside section, you will use your companion to get past an enemy mech. Once past it you will cross some train tracks, wait at the edge of the tracks for the train to come and interact with the back cart to jump on and take a ride.

22 screen in chapter selection. Stop after you cross the railroad tracks. Wait for the train. Stand as close to the train as possible. At the end of the last carriage you will see a handrail. Your task is to press when the handrail is opposite the character.

Don't worry if you missed it or didn't succeed the first time!!!! Wait for another train; no need to replay the episode.
