How to unlock the Fez achievement in Black The Fall - Definitive Guide

After passing a golden statue in chapter 3 you find the part with hooks carring crates.
You need to hang on them to continue. But wait a while on that spot until a box with a red line comes. Point at it with the laser and the robot will smash it.

This achievement is gained shortly after getting the robot companion. You'll reach a gap where you are supposed to jump on an overhanging blue box to cross. Instead of crossing, wait (approx. 1-2 minutes) for a box with a red edge to come by. As it enter the foreground, command your companion to interact with it and they will tear it down. After it drops and breaks, you will pick up a hit inside and unlock this trophy.

Shortly after getting the small robot that follows you, you'll come to a golden thinking man statue. Right past the statue is crates being carried from hooks. You need to wait there until you see one with red on it and then use your laser pointer on it to send your robot to it so it falls and smashes open. Click on the red hat on the ground and get your achievement.

Achievement glitched on me (picked up the hat, but no love). Quit to main menu and reloaded chapter select, but I was still wearing the red hat (even if I loaded a previous chapter) and the special crate wouldn't spawn! Fortunately, after force-quit + chapter select I no longer had the hat, and the Achievement popped when I re-collected it.

Obtainable in Chapter 2.

Once you make it to the edge of the cliff just past the thinking man statue, above you will be some cables with crates moving across them. Make sure using your laser you have your robot dog command ready to tell it what to do.

Now, wait for a crate to appear that has a red band across the top of it (see attached screenshot for reference). It’s the last one and very easy to spot. Once it's above you, be sure to have the robot dog attack it to trigger a cut scene and have a red hat appear from the crate.

The trophy pops upon watching the cutscene.

In the outside area, after the trash compactor, you will come across moving boxes. Wait in this area for about a minute and a box with a red top will appear. Use your cuff link to target the box for your companion to break. A cutscene will occur and you will unlock a new hat.

21 screens in chapter selection. Boxes are moving above you. Wait for the box with the red bar. As soon as the box turns towards the abyss, give the command to the robot to jump onto the box.
