To prevent the eggs from hatching you can either grab them and drop them in the center of your web or simply push them to the outside of the web. You will get this naturally through playing but you can also farm on the first challenge, "First Step". Six eggs spawn at the start, though you realistically only have time for about 3 or 4.
Velvet
This will more than likely unlock naturally as you progress through the Challenges. To prevent an egg from hatching, you need to either knock it off the Web or shoot it with an explosive powerup (you can also blow them up with Grenade bugs). A good challenge to grind this out with is Challenge #19 "Culling". You'll need to destroy 15 eggs to complete the challenge while not killing any Hornets. The Hornets are what will most likely make you replay this challenge a few times before you complete it, but once you have it done, just keep replaying the Challenge until you've killed your 100th overall egg and the trophy will unlock.
