This achievement is pretty simple. To get this you simply need to run away from 30 fights with monsters.
To do so, get in a fight with one of the purple enemies wandering around on screen. Then you will need to select the bottom option with a character (personally I recommend selecting it with all five characters to make it more likely you will successfully escape). Rinse and repeat 30 times for the achievement.

Slightly misleading. You must go to the Records menu and go to Prizes, then got to the Adv tab to redeem/accept the 1&2 star progress or the tracker will not register retreats.

Hmm... Mine popped right away without ever opening the records menu. I did find that if you don't go in and grab the prize for the first and second star progress you lose them, but the achievement should pop.
