How to unlock the Gold rush achievement in BLACKTAIL - Definitive Guide

During your journey you may find a randomly spawned golden imp (actually looks like its burning). Just chase and shoot it down (3-4 arrows needed) to trigger the achievement. Can be found multiple times, just carefully look around while playing.

Is it required to shoot in one go? Got a couple shots in when it disappeared and went to a nearby save and reloaded to respawn it but it only took another two shots and died but I didn't get the achievement until I found another and hit it four times in a row without it disappearing
