Story related, cannot be missed.
Right after getting the Black Mode upgrade, you will have to step on the alien Raknos Teleport Platform. This will take you back to the Portal you saw way back in the Mining Facilities level, but couldn't activate at that time. Teleport back to unlock the trophy, and now with your Glide Jump you can make it across the raised scaffolding next to the Portal and enter a new area, the Satellite Control Center.
