All you need to do to unlock this one, is play with your flashlight ON when it's dark. Then, when you're under attack (you'll know when that happens, the screen starts to shake and your dog gets nervous), all you need to do is aim your flashlight on the "monster" till it's gone. Note: it'll move a few times, so just watch where your dog is looking at, look in his direction and then when your controller vibrates and you get a white-ish cloud, that means you're doing good. Just keep turning and aiming at it until it's completely gone.
Killing your very first monster will unlock:
Killing 10 of them can be achieved very soon in the game if you managed to die a few times like I did
. There are multiple monsters in one fight (or at least, every fight you have counts as 2 or 3 kills for this achievement), if you killed 1 or 2 of those "monsters", and then died, the previous 1 or 2 kills still count, which means that you can basically get this achievo during the very first fight. But if you get the hang of it from the start and don't die, it'll come naturally since there are tons of fights.
