From time to time, Bullet will bring you various items (usually story-related). He has to do this 10 times. It does not have to be all on one playthrough. Progress carries over, so if you don't get it by the end of your first run, start it over again. Duplicates count, so it can be the same object over again.

Three that he always brings you are the candy wrapper from the rusty truck, a red tape near the bunker, and the truck keys. Chapter 4 is a great place to farm these if you're impatient.

A good place to get this is when you have to go to the maintenance shed to get the pressure valve in order to move the tree blocking your path. There's a checkpoint at the top of the hill. Simply go round to the back of the shed and look through the hole. Then command Bullet to get the valve by pressing RT on the item, take it off of him and reload the checkpoint.

Also, note if you haven't unlocked the "Fast with a flashlight" yet you can kill 2 monsters each time you load up the checkpoint.
