***This appears to be glitched for me. It took nearly 48 hours to unlock for me, so if it doesn't unlock for you, be patient a couple days***
I searched the internet how do this and this is what I found (I added the bold):
"If you're looking to access the game's final area and receive the true ending for clearing the game, you'll need to defeat every boss in the first seven areas, then defeat the Mutant Lord at the end of the eighth area. Along the way, you also need to have collected all area maps and obtained every upgrade for SOPHIA (a long list that includes Life Ups, Maneuvers, and Main/Sub weapons)."
so you need this achievement before you beat Level 9 boss
The Secret Achievement achievement in Blaster Master Zero worth 208 pointsContinue playing to unlock this secret achievement
When you clear level 9 (and 100% the items) you will get ultimate mode unlocked which you need for
The Secret Achievement achievement in Blaster Master Zero worth 392 pointsContinue playing to unlock this secret achievement
and
The Secret Achievement achievement in Blaster Master Zero worth 532 pointsContinue playing to unlock this secret achievement
