This solution requires you to use an xbox 360 controller. You can either use a wired controller or purchase a wireless controller with the USB receiver. If you can figure out the simple mode inputs (automatic special moves), this strategy can still apply.
There's two ways to go about doing this. First, you can use a controller for player one and a keyboard for player two and simply defeat yourself for the easy achievement. If you'd rather just knock this out in arcade mode, there's a fairly easy method to that as well.
In Arcade mode you can earn this fairly easily with Iron Tager. Using the controller you can close the gap by flicking the right stick to the right, doing a lunging special move. This will knock them down and usually charges through any attack they attempt to use. If they roll away, use it again. If they ukemi towards you or in place, flick up on the stick and do a special grab for a nice portion of their health bar. Repeat this process and the chances are a perfect will come before you clear Arcade.
You can also change the game to an easier difficulty if you'd like, refer to KongQuest's solution for "NOT BAD AT ALL!!" in order to do this.
