BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle Special Edition

Look at Yukiko's move list lol. she has a special move that is down down A (X on default xbox button) or down down B (Y with default Xbox button). It adds strength to her fire level and you can see the count at bottom corner, do down down A 10 times till its max, then enter Resonance Blaze do Quarter circle forward A+B Distortion. its really easy.

This is a very understandable solution for fighting game veterans. Not so much for noobs, but the comment clarifies it. Instead of downvoting it, give it a try. It is very easy. Just telling you to use Yukiko saves alot of trial and error.

If your response to someone not understanding fighting command terms is to explain it in the comments, put it in the solution. This makes the achievement more accessible to those who don't know these terms 🌷🧡

I said the motions to input them too, down down X or down down Y 10 times to have the fire boost stats to max, then quarter circle forward X+Y for the super for that huge 10,000+ damage, make sure Yukiko is close enough for it to do the full max damage from Super distortion

It's probably worth integrating the Xbox commands into the original solution for those who aren't as familiar with tech terms, keep that +ive ratio up 😊

I find the move doing just short of the 10k damage. For more damage enter resonance mode and it can do 12k+

it may be scary to see stuff like 235QCB, 5632145C on GG or 23598HK on Dead or Alive for exemple, but if you have a NumPad on your keyboard or can vizualise it, the 5 is neutral position, the center, and the other numbers are the directions of your joystick, 2 is bot, 8 is top, 4 back, 6 forward etc...

this is universal to all fighting games, so good to keep in mind

That's what alot ppl on this site didn't know as they don't play this kind of game and it be hard challenge for ppl that are unfamiliar lol, so I simplified it to Xbox input commands

I always get the number positions mixed up with a phone keypad (ascending left to right, top to bottom instead of the inverse) Thank you for adjusting the solution 🧡🌷

This is an absolute perfect guide. Got it sorted in about a minute

Great solution. For extra clarity I would add
- Yukiko is under persona 4 characters
- only DDY charged up the counter for me (ie not DDX)
- the max count is 9

This guide really could use some cleaning up for those who aren't familiar with this game. Just wasted an hour trying to figure out why my "Resonance Mode" wasn't working when I hit RB. When I hit RB, it did a partner attack, not Resonance Mode. To get Resonance Mode, you apparently have to have one of your two fighters die first. Also, I did it against a second controller. Hope this saves someone else some time.
