I keep getting booted to dashboard everytime I try to join a room :/

that’s an xbox one problem i think. try to join an empty room or lower populated one. another option could be trying to cloud launch the game which would play on series x hardware.

Then it may be a nat type problem where you can’t connect with certain people in a room. Have you tried joining an empty room before?
