How to unlock the Symbol of Trust. achievement in BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle Special Edition - Definitive Guide

Cross Finishers can be obtained by calling in your ally for a cross combo then using a distortion attack to finish them off, I was having problems with this when I did the cross combo immediately after calling them in so I recommend letting your ally get their attack in first.

Get the enemy down to about 5-10% then get close and do this combo (assuming you're on the left side):
cn_RB (Partner Attack)
cn_RB+cn_A (Cross Combo)
cn_downcn_downrightcn_right, cn_B+cn_Y (Distortion Attack)

Finishers done in Story or Training wont count for the achievement, they'll have to be done in Versus or Online, obviously much easier against a friend or another controller though.

And here's a video showing me do it against an alt:

This took me a minute to get the timing down, but with your guide I managed! Thanks a ton.

Thanks for the help. The timing is so weird, but just stick with it and it’ll pop for you! Make sure the blue bar is filled before you try and if you miss the cross combo (RB+A, wait for the bar to fill back up and try again.

This got stuck for me on 90%. On my 10th finish the platinum achievement popped (this was my last achievement), but this didn't. Got some more finishes, but nothing, still 90%.
Had to delete my save eventually and on a new save I got it to pop, after getting 10 finishes again.

Does this not work in Versus against a CPU? It seems to not be tracking my progress on any of the combat achievements like finishers, combos, blocks, etc.
Does difficulty make a difference like Beginner or Normal?

Edit: Logged in way later and 2 achievements popped in the hub. Guess they were tracking but way later... silly Xbox.
