Blazing Chrome

The trick here is knowing when to get in and out of the mech.

Rolling through the level with the 'drill mech' is fairly easy. Just alternate aiming your drill hand up and down to kill the big dog-like enemies that pounce from the ceiling and floor.

Once you get to the first phase of the boss (eyeballs and mouth above), jump out of the mech! It won't take any damage while you are out of it. This is critical because it is too large and bulky to avoid getting hit in during this phase. Finish off the eyeballs first, then work on the heads that shoot out of the corners (melee attacks work well). Avoid the acid blobs that start coming at you as you finish off the arms. They telegraph when they will fire, as green flecks start appearing at the orifice.

When the second phase of the boss fight starts (dancing crab-like thing) - quickly jump back into the mech and move under the crab as it jumps up. Keep your drill focused on the eye above as you move back and forth with the 'dance'. It shouldn't take long (a few seconds) to finish him.

The mech is found on mission III during the third section (after the spider boss). The mech controls are as follows:
Movement is as normal with the joystick
is jump
is to jump out of the suit
is to attack

During these mechsuit levels don't forget you can get out of the mechsuit and you won't lose any of the mechsuit health while out of it.

Just be sure to be in the mechsuit before the level ends.
