You're only concerned with passing yards here, so don't run any rushing plays. Your first game of Campaign Mode is against a very easy opponent. Any of your opponents in Division 3 (your first season) should be easy enough to rack up the passing yards. Just keep targeting the most open receiver.

You can increase the length of the quarters to improve your chances of hitting 400 yards and unlocking the Achievement.

Once you hit 400, don't start using rushing plays. You may as well finish out the game using only passes, and if you win the game you'll also earn the Bombs Away Achievement.
