Your first game of Campaign Mode is against a very easy opponent. Any of your opponents in Division 3 (your first season) should be easy enough to rack up points. Just keep targeting the most open receiver.
Typically, this takes three scores (three touchdowns with at least 1 extra point, or two touchdowns with 2pt conversions and a field goal).
It's also easier to achieve if you try in the second or fourth quarter. Just get yourself in a good position to score near the end of the first (or third), but run out the clock so that you can score on your first play of the next quarter. It buys you a lot more time.

How do you increase the length of the quarters. I adjusted the length in the options on the main menu but it didn't change a thing in campaign. Quarters are still 2 minutes.
