Simply have your rookie be a WR and throw the ball to him on a majority of the plays. Not completely necessary to throw it to him on every play (even though I pretty much did), as at the end of Division 3 he had at least 3000 yards receiving, whereas the next closest receiver had under 2000.

During a campaign season with a rookie as your RB or WR pass the ball often to your rookie back or wideout. You can check the status of your rookie under the “Statistics” tab on the Campaign Menu.
