How to unlock the Micolash, Host of the Nightmare achievement in Bloodborne - Definitive Guide
Story-related and unmissable. Micolash, Host of the Nightmare is the boss that you will fight halfway up the Mergo's Loft area near the end of the game. This is more of a puzzle boss fight than a real boss fight, and you will spend most of your time chasing Micolash around rather than fighting him. He will summon marionnettes throughout this fight, and it is up to you whether or not you fight them. They are only a mild nuisance, so it is up to you.
To defeat Micolash, you have to chase him into a dead-end room, which will cause him to stop running away from you. Then simply attack him, staying to his side and back, since the only attack that he does that does any real damage to you is a frontal snake-grab attack. Dodge it to the side and you will be fine.
Once he is down to half health, he will teleport away and start running again. So chase him again, and he will eventually return to a dead-end room, but this time he will lock a door behind him. Go upstairs and fall through the floor to land in the room that he's in to continue fighting him. He has one new attack now, which is to send out a hail of homing missiles. These missiles don't do much damage, but they do momentarily stun you, so they are more of a nuisance than a threat. They are very difficult to dodge, but it is not a big deal if they hit you. In the second phase all you have to do is not jump down off the first ledge after him. Whenever he jumps down just go around using the stairs and attack him. You can basically just chase him around the whole time getting a couple hits in here and there without having to fight him.

For his "second phase", if you stand close in front of him, he will basically only do the "snake grab" attack and not the homing missile attack. You can just side dodge, attack, return to his front, repeat.

Micolash Host of the Nightmare - Defeat Micolash, Host of the Nightmare.
This boss and trophy are fairly annoying to unlock, start off by chasing him into the room where he will then summon two skeletons. His only attack is a tentacle arm at this point. Damage him until he fades away and run to the next area.
He needs to jump through a mirror where you will then have to run back around and drop through the ceiling. After he goes into a room and locks the door behind him.
Follow the path and drop into the final room with him. Here you will need to watch out for his magic attack as it will deal a lot of damage and can even one hit you.
In no time you will have defeated the boss your trophy should pop! Enjoy!

One of the few bosses that can be passed the first time without taking damage. But just in case, know that all the boss’s attacks are magical. In fact, everything. Well, he can push there a couple of times or something, but the damage from this is pretty cheap, so immediately before entering the boss or after you enter (you can stand there at the beginning for at least an hour), wear the best lasso armor, because there is a chance that he will one-shot you normally armor in the second phase.
And so the boss is simple. Run after the person first, killing the dolls along the way. You kill him, he has only 1 attack - an attack with a tentacle. If you kill him, there will be another 2nd one further on. He has 2 attacks. The same tentacles and rain of soul arrows - they can kill in 1 hit, so be extremely careful. Both bosses are great at fighting even with rapiers or a cane, so take something with fast attacks and just cast all the spells on the bosses, you’ll kill them in 1 try

Even this asshole in the 2nd phase, before jumping down, rests against the wooden railing and stands, waiting by the sea for weather. that’s where you can pelt him with poisoned knives. every 3 knives - decrease in lifebar. 9 pieces was enough for me

There is not really a bug with this boss, but there is a trick before the second haza when he has half his life left he jumps to the bottom and retreats. He will not go further until you go down and then the fun begins. Throw him with everything you can, put him on bullets and shoot him. I just did him. so killed, so VERIFIED

A very funny situation happened to me. After a long run after him, he ran to the room where he had to fight, but he couldn’t get there, because... stuck in the passage (the skeletons did not allow him to run through). As a result, I stunned him with a charged attack and finished him off in the same corridor, preventing him from entering the room and closing the gate and not allowing him to make a single magical blow.
