How to unlock the Shadow of Yharnam achievement in Bloodborne - Definitive Guide

Story-related and unmissable. The Shadow of Yharnam is the boss of the Forbidden Woods area, and it is actually three bosses that you must fight at once. Because of this, this boss becomes significantly easiest in co-op, as you and your partners can each take on a different Shadow.

Either way, the best way to approach this fight is to lower the health of each Shadow before killing any of them. The reason for this is that the Shadows get stronger when one of them dies, and again when another one of them dies. See the following video guide:

Shadow of Yharnam - Defeat the Shadow of Yharnam.

This boss and trophy are can be annoying to unlock, Summoning an NPC makes this fight much easier. The three enemies will aggro the NPC and you can focus on lowering all of their health. Later in the battle all three transform and become more deadly.

Continue attacking them and in no time you will have defeated the boss your trophy should pop! Enjoy!

Try to remove health as evenly as possible, focusing on the pyromancer. As soon as any of the bosses' health drops below 30%, they will all receive several new attacks at an extremely long distance, and quite accurate. Then the race against time begins, you quickly finish off the most wounded, and take cover behind the walls from the pyromancer/shooter. The pyromancer can summon snake heads from underground, but after a couple of seconds they will leave, the main thing is to have time to run away. Boss is simple, but after 30% if you don’t quickly kill at least 1 of them, they can very quickly score with a large number of long-range attacks.

I killed the swordsman first, and kept the pyromancer behind the walls for the entire battle, it turned out quite easily

First he killed the shadow with a katana, it perfectly parries when swinging. Three or four parries - and he is ready, the last two are transformed, but two “transformers” are much easier to deal with than three. I recommend this tactic.
