The Dog Hat is unlocked on level 2-4
Easily can be done by enabling invincibility from the Assist Options Menu.
To access invincibility, do these steps:
1) Pause the game
2) Select Options
3) Select Assist Options, and it will be in there
Once activated, simply kill all the enemies as fast as possible and run through the level. It make 1-2 tries depending if you can figure out where the exit is to each room.
