The easiest level is 1-1. There's 4 categories that give you points. Combo, Time, Mobility and Weapon Variety. To get to 1,000,000 your best chance is to get a perfect combo (750,000), use as many weapons as you can while not losing your combo. Mobility will probably be maxed while trying the perfect combo. I did 1,002,694 without dying. It would be nice to point out you can't get this achievement on any extra level.

I just got it. I tried to keep my combo perfect, but in the end I broke it and I still wanted to try as there were only a few enemies remaining, and the achievement popped anyway. So I guess variety and time are the most important criterias for the ach, even if having a good chain combo helps, but no need to keep it up from start to end. I wouldn't recommand breaking it more than once because my score in the end was 'only' 1.000.234.
I used Rum's comment with the video, I had the deer hat, followed the exact path the person in the video took, and my weapons variety could have been better, but in the end it was enough.
Good luck people, I thought I would not get it before the game leaves the Game Pass. Stay calm and concentrated.

Can you do this with invincibility on? Maxing Combo, but restarting areas a bit to do it, and deaths occur, variety sucks a bit, but then i need 80,000 points if i hit the other 3 perfect? Just wondering as it is slightly confusing wether or not you can cheat lol

I found this easiest with the Deer Hat on i going for the Time bonus rather than maxing the variety bonus. The deer hat i used to jump over ledges quickly and try to complete the level fast.
750,000 for Combo 43,649 for Variety 85,000 for Mobility 148,572 for Time Bonus
Total of 148,572

Idk if you can actually use the assist mode as I discovered it existed as I was looking to upload the guides and someone mentioned it, but yeah as Kehl said, use the Deer hat

Assist mode divides the score by 10, so a million wouldn't be possible.

Level 1-1 is definitely the easiest to get this on. Can confirm I also used the Deer hat. I spent 15~ minutes doing practice runs and memorising where the different weapons are located, along with enemies. Finished up with a score of 1,020,394 by using roughly 18 different weapons and not breaking the combo.

If it helps anyone not make the same mistake as me, don’t over-try on variety. Combo and time (doing it without resetting) are most important!

After a bit of practice I got this on 1-1 too. Speed, a full combo and deer hat were what got me to 1,000,000. If you mess up restart the level. The time bonus was what got me a big jump in score
Time - 1:12 Combo - 750k Variety - 36,757 Mobility - 85k Time Bonus - 141,624

As mentioned above use the deer hat to have double jump. Then focus on completing the level as fast as you can to increase your time bonus.

Rabbit hat Working Stiffs go as fast as you can using as much weapons and that done it for me

I dropped the combo at the end and still managed to get 1,001,000. Deer hat all the way. Also use fists if you have to. The sword and harpoon are key for quick times in the last sections. Thumbs up. Thanks.

Got this in 1-1, Invincibility HAS to be off. Rush through killing as quickly as possible. The only things that matter are time, and not letting your combo break. If you die, restart the level. Restart by area gives a time penalty.

A few tips from someone who completely sucks at this game but still managed to get this:
-Time bonus is the most important part of this, you can have a very low variety score but as long as your time bonus is over 140,000 you'll be fine. You CANNOT restart area if you happen to mess up, that'll add time and kill your bonus
-Don't ride the barrels and wagons all the way to the end: simply jump on one to get it going and jump off to your next kill

I'm basically just repeating what everyone else said, but: Level 1-1, Deer Hat (for double jump), no Cheats, need perfect combo, if you die restart, practice practice practice. I'm not sure how many runs I did, but it was very difficult. I got 1,003,377 points.
I didn't focus on variety at all, just whatever weapons were closest. The barrels are tricky to aim but can take out a few enemies. Same with Katanas. Using the wagons and knocking over trees help too.
