How to unlock the Shardmaster achievement in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night - Definitive Guide

Just as a tip to people who maybe like tilting the scale more to their favor, if you do all of the remembering the dead quests where you have to bring the lady outside of Arvantville pieces of armor and equipment, she will give you the Ring of Solomon. This ring specifically increases the drop rate of enemy shards. It really cut the grind down. Noticeably. If you're okay waiting until closer to end game to get this. it saves a lot of time in the long run.

This Achievement requires you to Bind Every Shard to your Character. This is Tracked under Archives > Demons > "Shards Bound".

Of Note this includes all Craftable Shards towards your Count [ Mine just popped after crafting Resist Magic ]. There are 128 Monsters in the Bestiary and of those only 9 do NOT drop a Shard.

Completing your Shard List will also Spawn a Box in front of Johannes that Contains the "Jebel's Glasses" Accessory.

Edit- As others have Mentioned and with the Game having its first Major Patch I adjusted my claims on Mob Drops. as Gambler's Bane DOES drop a Shard, and was incorrectly stated Prior to the update.

Worth noting that the gamblers bane is incorrectly stating it doesn't drop a shard. It does have one, and it's needed for the achievement!

How rare is gamblers bane shard? I've been farming him with 100 luck and Solomon's ring and haven't seen anything from him 😣

Wow, a few runs after posting thins I got it lol. I got him to spin 777. I think that might be a requirement at least at the moment to get the shard

Oh lol, I'd just then messaged you about that - Yeah it requires 777 though drops at 100% rate when it does.

ITs item drop requires 777 too, though isn't 100%.

As Millionaire's Bane has 100% drop rate when it spins 777, you're better off equipping the Gambler's Ring rather than Solomon...

Zagan is excluded in NG+, although it appears in the compendium, you need to get it again, it seems to be a bug.

I recommend that you start collecting fragments thoroughly after you complete all of Abigail’s tasks; for the last task she will give you the Ring of Solomon , with its help you will get fragments from enemies more often.

The alchemist's fragments also count. After crafting them I received a trophy.
