How to unlock the Kickstopper achievement in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night - Definitive Guide

After getting double jump you will also be able to hold down and press jump again to do a drop kick that bounces you off enemies and does a little damage. After getting this ability, teleport to the warp room in the cathedral and in the very first room you walk into will be a demon. Double jump over him and just keep mashing jump while holding down. Be careful, because if you're holding down and slightly to the side you'll do an angled kick rather than a straight down one.

If like me you try to do this at the end of the game and you are to powerfull to kick 10 times this demon even with all your stuff unequiped, the dragon in the livre ex machina works great. Jump over him and kick his wings. He his in the largest room above the teleporter room.

If you are at end game you can also do this on the Giant Mocos in Den of Behemoths. Possibly the easiest option due to their size and inability to move.

I found the Giant Cannons in Den of the Behemoths to be the best option. They don't move and have a nice wide, flat top. Angled kicks won't matter and if you fail you won't take damage because you can stand on them.

this does not work longest jump kick streak is still a 0 i tried several times i even dropped my atk to 15 and had no weapon equipped so i wouldnt kill enemy very fast still nothing..... Update: you have to double jump after every hit and that is the only way it will work, whoever wrote how to do this achievement in here needs to add that in because your information is incorrect i had to look on youtube to see how someone did it after i failed with your misleading explanation every time.

I'd recommend doing this in the Den of Behemoths area on one of the big Cannon Mortes

This is where I got the Kickstopped achievement in Bloodstained. Sadly the Xbox - record now feature doesn't show achievement pops, but it's still the best place to get it. Good luck!!

Didn't unlock for me -.- In the statistics I have a record of 26 or something... Did it in different locations on different enemies and won't pop... oh dear...

Have you tried it on one of the dragons late game? They are pretty easy to bounce around on.

To jump kick, you must first obtain the Double Jump shard by defeating the "mecha rainbow birdman" boss in the library. Press (cn_downleft or cn_down or cn_downright) + cn_A to thrust kick downwards.

The easiest place to get this achievement is in the Underground Waterway entrance near the castle drawbridge. There are fish under the water that you can kick down onto from the surface; as long as you stay in the water and not on land, you won't be touching the ground.

All others are great but i have found a easier way to get this Achievement. Head to Livre Ex Machine fast travel point. video & screenshot below will provide what to do.

*screenshot point will be highlighted with a green square kinda of hard to see but you can still see it which travel point to go to

I got this achievement in the initial entrance to the castle with the high jump. Starting on the ground level, I jump kicked the candle statues up through the entrance using the high jump. If you can hit all the candle statues all the way up, there are enough to unlock the achievement.

When you receive a fragment for a double jump, a top-down attack technique appears - down + jump, we find a passive enemy and spam the blow on it until the achievement.

I did it during my second playthrough when I could stop time. Stopped time and jumped on the enemy 38 times.

This can easily be done in one of the last locations, “Monster’s Lair” (where all locations and enemies are increased in size). As you advance, on the right side of the location there will be a descent down the stairs, where there are at least 3 “Cannon” enemies. You can safely jump on top of them (they don’t move or attack) and spam them with a simple combination: , , , + .
