How to unlock the Marathon achievement in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night - Definitive Guide

You will get this through the course of the game GUARANTEED. It's technically missable but entirely impossible to not get. Any type of ground traversal counts towards this achievement. You can keep track of it in the journal archives at any time.

I personally unlocked this shortly after I defeated Valac. This isn't any sort of time reference but I've clocked around 5 hours so far and reached this point and obtained this.

Somewhere after opening 20 percent of the map, you will receive a trophy, since you will run a fairly decent distance.
