Yeah that's how I got it, easiest achievement I have got in a while you can do this for your character achievement and for your playing on each map

To get this achievement properly, (which is winning a full game without dying) you will require an enormous amount of skill or luck, or both. For those who want an easier way to get this achievement, all you have to do is host a ranked hunt game on any map you’re comfortable with. You just have to play the full 3 minutes of the first round without dying, and while maintaining first place. Once you finish (and win) the first round, wait for the second round to begin, then end the game. It will count as winning the game, and the achievement should pop when you reach the main menu.
