this is very easy, just make sure your the leader and avoid being killed.
i found a good method is playing the level Springbreak and having the crossbow and shotgun and jump on to the green umbrellas outside Diegos bar, the AI does not shoot and you are out of reach of physical attacks, when the AIs around you just shoot it to keep racking up the points, also keep an eye open for the patrolling guard on the beach
this is also a good method for normal kills in hunt

Hunt im guessing but I think it would work for elimination possibly... I know hunt for definite

in what mode can this be done?

There is no game mode called hunt the leader. I am unable to have this scene appear in Elimination. Is there a minimum player requirement.

To get this achievement you must first get a Hunt the Leader bonus scene. You get this in one of the 12 hunt scenes, and only occurs once a game, so if you don’t get it you will have to set up a new game.

Set up an arcade hunt game with the following settings:
 Film Set: Which ever map you’re most familiar with.
 Game Type: Hunt
 Game Size: Any, doesn’t matter.
 Round Length: 2 Minutes
 AI Hunters: 1, so there’s a better chance of you actually becoming the leader.
 AI Difficulty: Easy
 Once you get to the Hunt the Leader bonus scene you must survive for the entire two minutes, so I recommend at the end of every round replenish your speed (sleep) and you defence (toilet). You will only have to avoid one player so it shouldn’t be too hard, but try and get into a place with only one way up, like the spiral cliff near the beach, if they get too close you can just jump off. Don’t try to kill them, if you see them just run away. If they have their weapon out then try to get them to run past a security guard, if they get taxed then it will give you a few seconds to get further away from them.
